As in past days, without revealing too much detail, the two parties confirm they are continuing constructive working meetings at the level of secretary general to secure a stable government with a four-year mandate.
Through a joint communique, say the distribution of responsibilities according to departments in the future coalition is under way and that this is a process in which good progress has been made and agreement has been reached principlely.
They reiterate that they will propose adequate management of institutions that will implement the programme successfully. While in parallel the parties are working on harmonising the future government programme, which, according to them, will focus on the economy, justice, equality and integration.
Although Social Democrats and integrationists have already established the principles of the coalition, they do not show in what direction negotiations are on who the next prime minister will be, whether and how they will share the post.
LSDM leader Zoran Zaev on Thursday received the mandate for forming the Government and parliamentary majority.
If he fails to do so within 20 days, the mandate will pass to VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristian Mickoski. /AlsatM
