He told the Russian newspaper “ (Trud) that external assistance in dialogue should be done without blackmail and distorting the hands of one side, while as he said “at the same time stimulates the suspicious appetites of the other”, Tass reports.
“An alternative dialogue would be extremely dangerous for all,” said Lavrov.
He stressed that dialogue began in 2010 with EU mediation, but that, according to him, the road planned for mutually acceptable agreements, especially with respect to the security of Serbs in Kosovo, was not realised due to the movements of Kosovo Albanians.
” Today, the dialogue is on display. In the meantime, no alternative has been found for him, no matter how much one would like to cut off this gordian knot. Brussels and Washington are now increasing their activities to resume the negotiations process. It is important to remember that a generous conversation is needed regarding future relations between Belgrade and Pristina”, Lavrov said.
