Kosovo police arrest a Serb at border

A Serbian citizen has been arrested at the border crossing point in Merdare, after trying to bribe police officials.

The news has confirmed by Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxhaj, who has told Kosovo Press that Kosovo Police have arrested a person today, citizens of Serbia, who allegedly offered money as a bribe to KK border police officials to obtain faster services at the border of the Republic of Kosovo, but the same has been arrested and, by the prosecutor's order, sent to the hold on more legal procedures.

“As a creditable and reliable institution for citizens, Kosovo Police with its officials continue and will continue implementing tasks professionally in the function of ensuring security and strengthening order and law in the Republic of Kosovo”, he has said.
