From August 8, 2020, with the German government's decision, testing for COVID 19 is mandatory once you return to Germany. This ruling also envisions punishment in case of disrespect. 150 to 25,000 euros will be penalised on those who will not undergo trial.
Meanwhile, the Embassy has also provided instructions on where citizens returning to Germany should be directed to test.
“Aeroports where you can run free tests: Berlin, Bremen, Dortmund, Dieseldorf, Franfkfurt am Main, Hamburg, Hannover, Leipzig/Halle, Memmmingen, Moenchen, Koeln/Bonn, Nuernberg, Saarbruken, Stutgart. If you travel by car, bus or train from Kosovo to Germany you can also run tests at train stations (Muniah, Nuernberg) as well as at the Austria-German border on Highways to “Rastangage Hochfeldn- Nord” at the Autostadia A near Bergen. Even at the bus station in Berlin (ZOB) you can run” tests.
