The Health Ministry has already begun to license private labs, which conduct SRS COV2 serial tests.
That's what he reacted to. KMDLNJ, saying Kosovo citizens should not pay for COVID-19 test and that this is the state's responsibility.
The capacity for testing has increased, especially with the licensing of private labs and which KMDLNj, in the absence of transparency, has not been clarified by the criteria under which the license was given. Growth in testing capacities, KMDLNY sees it as necessary and positive for Kosovo citizens but requires serious surveillance, otherwise there is real danger of indemecibility. The KMDLNj rejects the prices set as unaffordable for most Kosovo citizens as soon as we have a deepening economic crisis with what is largely dependent on social assistance and emergency packages. Establishing conditions for testing in cases when allegedly infecting COVID-19 is the state's responsibility to rule out cases when tested take the test for tourist purposes, doing business and having no problem of financial nature. State subsidies of 18 % as stated by Minister Zemaj, if done linearly for KMDLNj is unacceptable, flagrant discrimination, unwillingness to fight pandemic and poverty of the population”, said the KMDLNJ response.
In this reaction The KMDLNJ has proposed that social categories -- those left without jobs -- be set free from any pay, while those with regular incomes should participate no more than 30 per cent.
“KMDLNj proposes that social categories, marginalised groups, those left without work, and all others who cannot afford to pay, should be set free from any payment, while those who have regular income should partisanise no more than 30 %s. KMDLNj seeks to create a monitoring team that will forward the work of private labs once even the lists of those being tested in public institutions to eliminate any discrimination that has not been done so far, so far that we have had flagrant discrimination where tests have become a priority based on status in society, not because of the need for prevention and fighting of the pandemic”, it is said in the reaction of the KMDLNJ.
And the Health Ministry has published today the list of private labs licensed for conducting SARS COV2 serial tests.
So far there are 47 private labs that were licensed by the MSH.
