Karacheva residents: We've sent thousands of paperwork to institutions, they've never dealt with us.

For the past two decades, residents of Karatcheva village have almost been neglected by Kosovo institutions. While there is institutional attention, <x0 visited” frequented on their territory have Serbian gendarmerie.

Selver Lenyan, who represents the residents of this village, and who has always been loud on this issue, tells Kosovo Press that Kosovo institutions have never dealt with the plight of residents at Karacheva village.

It shows there have been several groups of Serbian gendarmes who patrolled the village's territory of Karacheva.

There have been no shortage of cases when Lenyan himself had sent demands to the leaders of institutions to help.

Yet, according to Lenian, none of them have so far taken issue.

“Caracheva and border generation residents have written it thousands of times. We've let you know, we've asked them to come to the people with trouble, the sorrows that confront their problems at the border belt... The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have firmly been told they have never been taken. Neither was the prime minister taken, nor was the president taken, nor was the chief speaker taken, nor were the assembly delegates taken. It's terrible what happened to Karacheva and what's happening”, he adds.

Lenyan says they will continue to be vocal in protecting the country's bad territory, which requires institutions to turn their attention to this village.

I request from official Brussels to help protect 11,000 km2 and warn Serbia. Turn away from this harmful cause, from such counterfeiting, because it is Albanian land. Historically Kosovo has never been part of Serbia... I experience all relevant organs that this time be taken seriously to stay serious and protect”, he adds.

During Friday day, 11 members of the Serbian gendarmerie have passed armed disguises near the restaurant “Oxygen”, in Karacheva.

As long as there were a few other groups that have crossed the territory of this area.

Since the end of the war, residents of this village of Kamenica have been alarmed several times for the introduction of Serbian gendarmerie in this territory.
