Last night after 9:00 in the town of Ferizaj, exactly at the financial centre “Village”, there was a clash between some irresponsible citizens and two members of the Kosovo police. Those in question were originally sent to hospital for treatment, then sent to hold for 48 hours.
Kosovo's police inspector has said that following the announcement of this case, individuals in question were released at the scene last night.
In this case, two police officials who have suffered bodily injuries have been involved. IPK investigators have also contacted the two people arrested by police who were sent to the emergency room by police themselves for medical control, and have claimed their treatment at the police station was correct. IPK investigators are expected to take other investigative actions in co-ordination with the Prosecutor towards the full lighting of the case's circumstances in question”, IKPA responses said.
Police spokesperson in the Ferizaj region Agim Gashi has the story, stressing that people arrested have been sent to the hold for 48 hours and regional police and procurement are being taken into account.
