The Social Democrat Initiative has demonstrated confidence in the government's chief, Avdullah Hoti, for dialogue with Serbia. Annie why Deputy Prime Minister Albulen Balaj-Halimaj was not part of the last face-to-face meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, she trusts the preliminary principles for dialogue between the ruling partners.
In addition to the AAK's distrustful positions for internal discussions of this meeting, Balaj-Halimaj says this party should trust partners to the end, or interrupt co-operation.
But despite that, Deputy Prime Minister Balaj-Halimaj in an interview for Kosovo Preress said these differences are not necessary for the collapse of the ruling coalition. While demanding the expansion of this ruling coalition with the involvement of the opposition PDK party.
We were in some meetings, while we were not in the meeting with Vuciq. This has probably been, exclusively the prime minister's right to have everyone with them. If he took Mr. Selim, I'd be left out because the meeting was one plus one, and then maybe I would have similar statements. But it's not important at all that if you trust someone by vote then you have to trust them on the subjects that you raise and talk to. Because the prime minister there hasn't said anything outside what we've all agreed on. When you trust another partner, it's good to trust him to the end, or when you don't trust him, it's to rob him of trust or not to cooperate with them further, she says.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hoti's subordinate considers the Vetevendosje Movement initiative to bring down the current government through a no-confidence motion.
“may have coalition partners' differences on various topics, but it is not necessary to disrupt the coalition for one disagreement or another. They wanted to do a show because they know they don't have government crash numbers. I don't even know they have the numbers to put this motion” into session, she said.
In response to this initiative, Deputy Prime Minister Balaj-Halimaj says that due to the need for unity for dialogue with Serbia and the proposal-accuses against two KLA leaders -- President Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselin -- the latter's party should be part of the Hoti government.
“We hold that even the PDK should be part of this government. Because we want to be unique in the face of Serbia with dialogue and each political subject joining this idea that the main goal of recognition between the two states is to be more stable and united”, he said.
Differences with the AAK, deputy prime minister from the initiative's ranks also revealed to the Serbian gendarmerie's entry into the village of Karacheva in Kamenica, where she says she believes KFOR statements that they have been joint patrols.
“Since KFOR claims or appears with such a statement we believe and continue to think that they have been joint patrols. There is no need to worry citizens there. We and each citizen of the Republic of Kosovo is able to protect that country at any cost and each part of the Republic of Kosovo”, she says.
As for managing the situation with COVID-19 pandemic, Balaj Halimaj said that from August 15th, new equipment for RT tests is expected to come- PCR. Until it says that any IKSHP recommendation will turn into decisions, even those for making more rigorous measures.
