Infectologist Ilir Tolaj in a statement for Gazeta Blic said the smallest number of new cases with Covid 19 are resulting from the widespread infection of citizens who have subsequently made citizens immune to the virus.
The risk of the number of cases is due to an increase in the number of infectious people that is producing a collective immunity in Kosovo, rather than the measures that have been taken, Kosovo's only weapon is the huge infection of people to gain immunity“, he said.
According to Tolaj, Kosovo will come late to get the vaccine, but even when it is taken there it will be “the politicians who take it away and the citizens will get it late.
“Vaxina will soon be in developed countries, but not for Kosovo, since we are a small country, we will take it later and not for all citizens but will get the health workers, the police and politicians will speak there, the population won't quickly take the vaccine”, he said.
Tolaj said that even this year we will face pandemic until we gain collective immunity.
We'll face pandemic this year, we'll have new cases. If the number of infections is kept at this level soon we will achieve more stable collective immunity that will reduce the number of coping to”, Tolaj said.
Tolaj claimed that the death toll is large as a result of an inadequate care system in intensive care.
<x0m>Problem is the number of death cases resulting from a failure to service at the University Clinical Center, where there is an inadequate care system for patients in Intensive care, but this cannot be changed quickly, so we will still be dead from the” virus, he said.
