I am in Paris today to meet with senior France officials to talk about the ongoing Kosovo dialogue in Brussels, which is also being supported by the United States.
At the first meeting held at the Presidential Palace of Elysee, I was hosted by Mr. Alexander Adam, diplomatic adviser for Europe to French President Emmanuel Macron. The long, container encounter. Praising the great role of France and President Macro, Mr. Adam's been notified of the overall flow of dialogue in Brussels. The conversation was open and perishable, in a spirit of complete understanding.
Praising the EU's commitment and the work of its special envoy, Lajcak in the rounds of talks under way in Brussels, I stressed the essential importance of the dedication of President Makron and German Chancellor Merkel.
Co-ordination with the aim of the dialogue taking on a new dynamic is impressive. I stressed that it should not waste valuable time, dragging the process, but should be paved without delay and procrastination, for discussion and according the key issue, the comprehensive agreement for mutual recognition and normalisation between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia. This can be achieved only with the involvement and support of direct and co-ordinated triangular Paris, Berlin, Washington to help Kosovo and Serbia reach a normalisation agreement, recognizing each other. I assured Mr. Adam that the constructive engagement of the Government and all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in this process is firm.
In addition, at a long and multi-companional meeting, I was hosted in Quai d'Orsey by Ambassador Frederic Mondolon, Director for Continental Europe in France's MPJ. Chat topic, even at this summit, was Kosovo dialogue Serbia
We also talked at this meeting with Ambassador Mondolin about visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens. I humbly demanded that France finally grant its reconciliation that liberalisation occur within this year.
Both meetings conveyed a clear message that France and President Macron remained devoted along this whole process, in strong support of a fair, stable and comprehensive agreement.
