The Kosovo Government's co-ordinator for dialogue with Serbia, Skender Hyseni, after Paris has travelled to Berlin, where he has also met German Chancellor Matthias Luttenberg's adviser.
Skender Hyseni through a release published in his official profile on the social Facebook network, has indicated that he has requested that there be a co-ordination between Berlin, Paris and Washington because only with the involvement of this threerd can a comprehensive agreement be reached that will have mutual recognition as a result.
Hysen's full delivery, without interference:
Within the context of co-ordination and exchange of views and attitudes about dialogue with Serbia, I held two separate meetings in Berlin today. In Chancellor Angela Merkel's cabinet, I was received by Mr. Matthias Lüttenberg, head of the International Relations Division with Central, Eastern, and Central Asia. Meanwhile, another long and many content meeting, I held at the RG Foreign Affairs Ministry, where I was hosted by Ambassador Michael Siebert and Mrs. Christiane Hullman, Chief Division for the Western Balkans.
Since the beginning of the meetings, I stressed that the government and all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo see in the Federal Republic of Germany a friendly country, a second home for a large number of Kosovars. I underlined that this, and the unwarranted German support for Kosovo and its people, in the worst hours of history, have created a special link between our peoples and our countries.
Expressing deep gratitude for the dedication of Chancellor Merkel and Germany's special role in the quick conclusion of bilateral recognition dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, I called for decisive steps to follow in dialogue.
With Mr. Lüttenberg and Ambassador Siebert thus had a full understanding in spirit, an open and very private conversation. After I informed them of the light flow of meetings in Brussels, we discussed some of the specific aspects, always with a view to structured and accelerated.
Praising the EU's commitment and the work of its special envoy, Ljcak, in the rounds of talks under way in Brussels, pointed out that dialogue should take on a new dynamic not to waste valuable time, dragging on the process, but should be stretched out without delay and without procrastination, for discussion and according the key issue, the comprehensive agreement for mutual recognition and normalisation between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia. This can only be achieved with direct and co-ordinated involvement and support of the triangle, Berlin, Paris, Washington, to help Kosovo and Serbia reach a normalisation agreement, recognizing each other. I stressed that addressing and signing the agreement after negotiating its elements guarantees success of dialogue and therefore a long-term stability and a literal spirit of co-operation in the Western Balkans. I assured the economists that the constructive commitment of the Government and of all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in this direction is firm. Kosovo aims at peace, co-operation and normal neighbourly reports with Serbia, as well as other countries in the region.
Both meetings conveyed a clear message that Germany and Chancellor Merkel strongly devoted along this whole process, in powerful support of a fair, stable and comprehensive agreement.
