Hungary will close borders for foreigners on September 1st to stop increasing the number of people infected with coronarys, while Hungarians returning from other countries must submit to quarantine measures, Gergely Gulyas, head of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's cabinet, said on Friday.
Gulys has said Hungarian nationals can leave the 14-day quarantine only if they offer two negative tests for COVID-19 disease, which causes coronary.
Exceptions to ban entry will have for military personnel, humanitarian travel as a transitor, as well as diplomatic travel.
Gulyas has said the government is considering a series of measures on how fans will be allowed to participate in the football match between Bayern Munich and Seville in Budapest on 24 September.
The number of infected has increased and most of them come from foreign states”, Gulyas said through a media conference.
He has said that restrictions are necessary so that children can return to school next week as well as to protect people and the economy.
On Friday, Hungary has recorded 132 new cases of infected people, once the largest number of pandemic peaks.
Hungary has a total of 5,511 infection cases and 614 victims with this virus.
