Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti is in isolation for two weeks now, since he has resulted in positive results for COVID-19.

For Hoti's state of health, his media adviser Xhavit Beqiri has provided details.

According to Beqiri, Hoti's condition is good and is expected to be in the office by tomorrow.

Hoti had reportedly been infected with coronarys on August 2nd. He had suggested that besides coughing, there are no other symptoms and that he will be in isolation for two weeks.

I've done my test for David-19 today and I have proved positive. I have no marks, except for a very easy cough. From tonight I'm in solitary confinement for the next two weeks. I will fulfill my duties from house”, he wrote Hoti.

By contrast, the number of Kosovars infected since the beginning of the pandemic has reached over 11,000.

By this figure, the battle with the disease has been won by about seven thousand patients until there have been 390 cases of death that have had other associated diseases.

Currently, there are 3 thousand and 924 active cases with COVID-19.

The total number of positive cases is 11,275 cases out of 43.544 suspicious persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 390 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 144 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 6,961 cases, while the number of active cases is 3,924”, reportedly in the latest IKSHEPA report.
