Zelensky shows G7 leaders discussed additional sanctions on Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that leaders of the Seven Countries Group had agreed at a summit in France that Russia was not winning its fight in Ukraine and had discussed additional sanctions to bring Moscow to the negotiating table.
Speaking in a video connection, he said Russia would face a very difficult winter amid the escalation of Ukrainian attacks on its energy infrastructure unless a peace agreement is reached before that time, Reuters reports, the Periscope broadcast.
Zelenskiy said that US President Donald Trump had responded very positively to his request to increase air defence supplies to Ukraine.
