Protests in Albania, Rama does not think of resignation: Maybe when we get into the EU

Prime Minister Edi Rama said he does not yet think of resigning, despite protests in the country against him. In an interview for “Vany Fair Italy”, Rama said that perhaps when Albania joins the European Union, it could make such a decision.

Until I feel the fire of passion I'll stay. If Albania were accepted into the EU, the first gathering as a member state would be the best chance to resign”, Rama said.

Asked whether he is still willing to give up the veto, as stated in the past, Rama replied: “absolutely. Europe should be like a family's table, where there are several hierarchys. I'm not saying that there's a category of subjects, but the Union can't work with everyone's approval”.
