The situation with the Covid-19 pandemic in Kosovo municipalities every day is getting worse. It is imperative that the government's recent measures be reviewed and new measures taken to combat and Corona virus. The Kosovo Communists Association supports any new decision that saves the lives of citizens.
So says Kosovo Communists representative Saban Ibrahimi, who adds that they are continuing meetings with leaders of inspection, municipality, and National Institute of Public Health.
We're all seeing that the situation is getting heavy. The municipalities have all municipal headquarters active, except for the COVID management headquarters, created village-level headquarters in order to stand up and support citizens in the fight for the prevention of Avid-19. The municipal inspector is supporting the central inspector, the AUVK, respectively, not only in the evening hours, but in the hours of the day, and we are hoping that this crisis will be overcome”, Ibrahim says.
Ibrahim says of Kosovo priss, that they are seeking a review of the Kosovo Government's recent decision, since according to him, such a thing is necessary.
We as an association requested that the July 5th decision be considered. The central level has encountered understanding of our demands. However, I feel that measures and final decision are also necessary because of the heavy situation. Let's not blame citizens or institutions, just the three main postulates to be respected. That's what any citizen can do. Keeping the physical distance, wearing the mask and personal hygiene, has been found that if they are respected, even Covid-19 will not be as dangerous as it is now, but on the contrary we are seeing that the situation is weighing”, Ibrahim says.
Kosovo Communist Association Director Saban Ibrahimi emphasises that the Government of Kosovo also has the support of municipalities for new measures, which, according to him, serve the lives of citizens.
“has begun not to say much, the pronunciation of mandated fines against citizens or individuals who do not respect these rules. But perhaps the Kosovo government should take other measures in terms of combating the spread of Covid-19”, he adds.
So far only in the capital have 2563 cases of virus coronarys been identified. While 8330 positive cases are confirmed throughout Kosovo, 4578 have healed, while 227 people have lost the battle with Covid-19.
