France has recorded 7,379 new cases Friday, the largest number of those infected within 24 hours since March, when the body has spread to the country. President Emmanuel Macron has raised concerns about possible quarantine return as a result of increased new cases.
The total number of infected has gone to 267,077.
France is facing an increase in the number of people infected with coronarys.
Despite high figures, the number of victims and hospitals is up to a stable measure, authorities say.
On Friday, 20 new victims have been registered, bringing the total number of deaths to 30,596.
President Macron said the return of quarantine could be considered if the number of new cases continues.
France had eased isolation measures in May, but some countries like Paris have kept some more restrictive measures. Since Friday, masks are binding on the streets of Paris.
Spain and Germany have also noted increased numbers of new cases until the World Health Organization has warned of a resurrection of pandemic to Europe.
