“I consider myself the winner of these elections --” said Svetlana Tikhanovskaya on Monday, foreign media reports, Periscopi broadcast.
Police and demonstrators have clashed since two nights in the capital Minsk and other cities.
The absence of an audit no observers was present has led to allegations of widespread manipulation of the vote.
Protests continued throughout the country on Monday. In Minsk, officers reportedly used tear gas against demonstrators and arrested 30 people.
One witness said they saw officers with boxes beat the protesters. Polish-based broadcaster Belsat TV said several subway stations in the capital were shut down and the internet was still largely unavailable. /Periscopi/
