The World Economic Forum summit, to be held in Davos, Switzerland, in January, was extended for the summer of next year, due to the coronary pandemic.
The Council of Experts is that we cannot safely keep [sammite] in January”, the World Economic Forum said through a statement.
The summit, gathering leaders of the world's states, has been held each year in Davos since 1971.
The World Economic Forum portrays itself as the main address for gathering political and business elites with the aim of discussing the challenges of globalism.
The group said the decision to postpone the “summit has not been taken easily, as the need for global leaders to gather and draw up the recovery path” from the coronary pandemic is “very urgent”.
The World Economic Forum said it will make public the dates and location of the meeting extended after conditions of health and security are created.
