Protagonist of this charming documentary from 1973 is Isaac Bytyqi, born in 1923, a construction worker, writes albinfo.ch. The documentary also begins with his presentation: “I, I, Isak Bytyqi...”.
He relates about his work in Switzerland, his family situation, his conditions that led him to come to work in Switzerland, etc.
Bytyqi says that even in his homeland he worked in construction but in Switzerland he can earn more, so he's come here. With the money earned from construction work, he keeps his family in Kosovo, educates his family.
In Brutislene (ZH) where he works, he lives in the workers' barracks. I didn't learn German. Here, at the barak almost everyone speaks Albanian”, says Isaac.
SRF cameras have been taken from modest living in workers' barracks, from construction work for Isaac and others.
Isaac Bytyqi planned 2-3 years to build a home in her homeland and buy sheep and cattle. Then he would return...
If he really did come back then and he made his plans then, we can't know.
P.S.
For example, protagonist Bytyqi has been realised in Serbian.
