Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has written for the Trepca mine today, telling Kosovo's “Thessari”, but this concerned Marko Djuric, director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Serbian Government, who has reacted immediately.
Djuric has reacted to Thaci, saying Trepca belongs to Serbia and is its treasure.
“Trepca is a treasure of Serbia. Serbia has material evidence for any Dinar invested in Trepca. It's fruit from all citizens of Serbia and hard work and mining sweat. Those who adopt it today have destroyed it so much that only traces of former greatness remain. Serbia will restore Trepca's” fame, Djuric wrote on Facebook.
While today, President Thaci has published photos from Trepca and called it Kosovo's treasure. While he also wrote that miners “in the day start by hoping for good luck, until they work in the depths of the Trepca mine”.
