The director of the so-called Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, declared today, prior to the upcoming meeting between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, that mutual recognition of Serbia-Kosovo will never be on the agenda.
“In the Belgrade-Pristina technical dialogue are discussing various aspects of normalising relations and creating conditions for the normal lives of citizens in Kosovo, but mutual recognition has never been and will never be in the agenda,” said Djuric.
He added that Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti is spreading false news in order to minimise efforts to continue dialogue.
“Hot could, as before, keep only monologues on that topic, but there will be no dialogue on that,” Djuric said, referring to the possibility of mutual recognition under the Kosovo-Serbia final agreement.
He added further that Serbia, “due to Pristina's increasingly frequent provocations and false information about the content and goals of dialogue, would seek the European Union as a mediator in the talks, react to this case and stop the” dezinforms.
