The patrol of a group of members of the Serbian gendarmerie, accompanied by KFOR members in Karacheva, Kamenica, caused concern among residents of this side, but was also accompanied by reactions in Pristina.
A KFOR clarification was enough through a media communique that patrol has been shared to return to normality.
But for such operations within Kosovo territory, KFOR should agree with the responsible institutions, Deputy Prime Minister Albulen Balaj said in an interview for Online Economy.
“KFOR will have to agree or inform our competent bodies that such patrol is being done over there with the Serb part and that we be informed”.
“Therefore, anything that would have the right information at the right time would create no panic but also an urgent statement from one party or another”.
