MP Blerta Deliu-Codra has said the PDK will not seek new elections during the pandemic, due to the growing situation of those affected with COVID-19, but that with the decline of the number it will engage in this.

“The PDK has said that for us it is very important the health of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. Once there is a drop in the level of infection in Kosovo, we will commit to having elections as soon as possible to bring legitimacy back to the citizen of Kosovo”, she said.

Deliu Kodra rules out every choice at the time the country faces the coronary.

We have said that at the stage of the pandemic we will not seek elections. We have also voted budget revision, namely to strengthen our support as opposition parties not to block this process, because Kosovo is found in a serious phase and citizens do not deserve”, she added.

Deliu-Codra, which comes from the PDK ranks, adds that the last two governments have failed to give them what they promised citizens, the big change.

“We have clarified our position as the PDK in terms of elections. We are subject to opposition and of course that each subject requires elections. We've said it and we're specifying that two governments that once made together and promoted the government of hope, robbed the will of citizens, lied and manipulated the will of citizens given by vote-support for them. They have testified that their agreements have been principled agreements and have proved they are not partners who deserve to rule with the support of Kosovo citizens. That's why the citizens' belief won't turn into support for them. Citizens, unfortunately, have failed to secure anything from the two governments, which have promoted the big change of”, Deliu aldura said on the show.
