The court has imposed a <x0) prison arrest measure” on Indri Bajraktari, the 24-year-old suspected of indiscriminate murder, on the loss of a 17-year-old life, Enisa Dodaj, on the beach in Velipoja.
Journalist Klodian Zivani reports to Top Channel that Indri Bajraktari has thus stated in the courtroom:
We both fell off the engine and I don't remember anything that happened. For about 40 minutes, I've been unconscious in the water and after I've been mentioned I've tried to swim. There's another couple with a motorcycle and they told me that we're announcing those motorcycles that they were two and there was no room for me. I don't know how the bike key to the girl's neck ended because I fell unconscious. I tried to get away from fear. I panicked and was afraid. I thought the girl was 18, so we were out. Her sister's in England and we have knowledge. We've been without protective vests in the motorcade”, he said.
