Coddy-19 in Pec, Loci says the IKSHP is presenting the real situation.

The Peja municipality continues to have a state of burden from the pandemic with Avid-19. Currently there are 59 patients lying at the Pec General Hospital, of which 39 are with oxygen therapy.

The Health Director in Pec has criticised the National Institute of Health in this municipality, saying the real situation in this municipality is not the same as the one the Institute presents. Coronavirus has also touched on health workers in this municipality where a nurse has passed away today and dozens of other workers are infected.

The director of Health at Pec, Petrit Loci, tells Kosovo that the number of patients with vivid19 symptoms has increased.

We have entered the fifth week, where we have a much heavier situation than the past in the pandemic with COVIDD-19, we have increased patients' positive cases. There are also increases of patients who navigate health centres to seek medical treatment and show symptoms leading to Covid19. Currently, we have patients in Peja municipality who are being treated, ambulances, receiving therapy described by the general hospital's informative ward at the family medical center number five that we've specifically established for the treatment of suspected patients with Covid19, while there are 59 patients lying in the Pesh's General Hospital, where 39 of them are with oxygen therapy”, says Loci.

Despite escalation of the situation with numerous cases infected in this municipality, the health director says the situation is under management and that they are working to keep the same situation out of control.

Loci leads criticism towards the Public Health Institute in Pec, where he says that the real situation in this municipality is not the same as the one represented by the Institute in results.

He says that on the field a large number of citizens who have symptoms of Covid19, but are late on their test and have their results.

The real situation in the Pec municipality and the results from the Institute stand out as day by night... . Now it's lost understanding of the wait as the results go back a week in waiting for results to be released, we have cases of lab analysis and vatgenology leading to the patient's full doubts about it as long as it is subject to testing and until the test results come up it results, it results negative with Ovid19, so we have this disrepute as far as these attitudes are concerned, and this presents a state of reality in terms of statistics, he says.

This morning, a health worker from Peja, touched by Avid19 passed away.

The director of Health says that there is no information about any of the nurses from Peja who have passed away today, affected by Avid19.

The “has been positive with Covid19 and has been treated for several days at QKUK, but unfortunately today we have received the announcement that the esteemed nurse of many years who has made a valuable contribution to the Peja nurse no longer lives to”, he says.

There are dozens of health workers in Pec infected in the coronary.

Loci says affecting health workers, or even support technical staff, directly affects the functioning of the health system, where he adds they are trying to recover temporary shortages when health personnel are affected.
