Auditor's Report General for the Prizren municipality has issued a long list of failures for 2019.
The response of civil society and activists has been numerous. The PDK has also reacted to this report.
Communications Director Basmir Xhemaj has said unfortunately Prizren has no mayor serving citizens.
This is his full post:
Prizren has no chairman; or has one, formally, in service only to the interests of non-political groups. It serves at least citizens and their needs. Haskuca is not just a weak speaker who sleeps in Pristina and day as visitor to Prizren; but his ill-governance is increased daily.
Auditor's Report General for 2019 introduced these days speaks of alarming state of public money mismanagement in Prizren municipality. Debts in income management, staff management, spending, asset management, steady increase in cash accounting and obligations are just a few of the reasons found for poor governance. Of 29 recommendations Audience for KK of Prizren; 12 have not been implemented at all, 3 in part, 6 closed and only 8 implemented.
Mytaher Haskuka's promises of corruption-free governance in 2017; with transparency and green city, have turned to degradation; failure and threat to destroy even the city's 20-year-old ones.
