The World Health Organisation (OBSH) urged Russia to follow specific guidelines for producing safe and effective vaccines.

Moscow has announced plans to soon begin producing the new coronary vaccine, which causes COVID-19.

Russia said on Monday it is intended to launch mass production of a vaccine in September and will expand production to <x0m> a few million” doses per month within the coming year, Reuters reports.

O The BSH stressed that all candidate companies for producing vaccines must pass full stages of testing before they can begin production.

There are established practices and instructions for this”, WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier told reporters at UN headquarters in Geneva.

Scientists in the West have raised concerns about the speed of developing Russian vaccines, suggesting that researchers may be under pressure from authorities to offer a solution as soon as possible.

The World Health Organization warned on Monday that there may never be a perfect vaccine for COVID-19.

Over 18 million people worldwide are reportedly infected with the new choreography that causes COVID-19, and over 690 thousand have died. / REL
