British embassy disappointed with Kosovo Assembly

“We have been following with disappointment the failure of the Republic of Kosovo's decision to appoint the Commissioner of the Agency for Information and Privateness on 14 August. The transparent and meriting process, supported by our recruiting project, had released two suitable candidate”.
According to the non-recognition embassy, the implementation of the memorandum of understanding questions and sends negative signals to independent professionals.
” None of them are calling into question the stated commitment of political parties to implement the Memorandum of Understanding with the British Embassy, but most importantly, sends a negative signal to independent professionals in Kosovo and their hopes of contributing to Kosovo institutions. Any public appointment would have to take into account only the interests of the country and its citizens, rather than the close party interest”.
