Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Bekim Haxhiu has reacted after reporting that the PCR tests for Sars-Cov-2, which are being conducted in the private laboratory “Medical & Department Services”, are costing citizens 200 euros.
Haxhiu has said the Health Ministry would have to deal with the price adjustment work at the moment when it decided to license labs to run tests for COVID-19.
He also says that the former government Kurti and the current government should give responsibility for why no more tests have been conducted, since according to him whether to use full capacity in the IKSHP, it would need to license private labs.

A Kosovo citizen has paid that price for a RT-test. PCR in the lab “Medical & Laboratory Services”, which is owned by the daughter of Blerim Devol, who was licensed by the Health Ministry.
