Azem: We've offered the prosecution facts about the misuse of emergency package, she's silent.

The State Prosecutor has not yet revealed the investigation into misuse of means from the emergency fiscal package, despite the fact that the Economic Crimes Police have launched investigations and were offered testimony by the Independent Private Sector Union. Private Sector Workers' Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi has said that there is still no information from the prosecution if anyone was convicted, but, adds, there is information that the Economic Crimes Police have launched investigation into the arguments the Private Sector Union has offered them.
Azem says that all these arguments had also been offered to the Labour Inspectorate, but adds that they, too, seem to have been threatened by company owners.
And for his allegations of misusing workers' tools from companies, Azem was interviewed weeks ago by the Prosecutor.
Regarding these claims, he adds, the minister and deputy finance minister have always been announced, but since they have undertaken nothing. Azem emphasises that he is obliged to apply to the State Prosecutor and Economic Crimes Police to assess the situation the opinion has announced.
On June 17th of this year, we as unions have applied to the State Prosecutor and the Economic Crimes Police to assess the situation we've announced the opinion of, whether there are misuses of tools or there isn't, and I think that perhaps at the right time the Prosecutor and the Economic Crimes Police have agreed to treat this topic together. I was interviewed more than an hour and a half ago by economic crime police, where I offered enough documentation”, Azemi said.
According to him, misappropriations of emergency package have not been done only in the first round by company owners, but this has continued.
The nature of the abuse work is not due to economic crime police. We've offered some form of bank account to workers where there's been misappropriations and normal data required that when they get out on the field, at least be equipped with enough arguments”, Azemi said.
