95 Kosovo citizens have flown from Skopje to Turku, Finland, by plane, where among 157 passengers, 24 proved positive.

Although, it is not known who were travelling infected, the Health Ministry in Northern Macedonia, says it will receive relevant information.

24 people who proved positive were among those who were voluntarily tested.

“About the flight information from Skopje to Turku in Finland, where according to Finnish authorities from a 157 passenger plane, after voluntary testing, 24 were positive for coronary, the Health Ministry after checking information with services from Skopje Airport and border police informs that it is about travelers, exiles, coming to Northern Macedonia, or passing across the country for various causes, then returning to work in Western Europe, for which permission of EU residence or citizenship does not apply for restrictions on access to and exit from the land borders<1>

“According to data received during the landmark flight, most passengers travelled with Kosovo passport (95 persons), Finnish passport (60 people) and others are with Macedonian passports (2) and an Albanian, one Bulgarian, Estonian and a Swedish”.
The Ministry of Health will collect information from Finnish authorities, who are 24 positive passengers, whether they are a few families or individual cases, what kind of tests have been made and the Public Health Institute is already working to check whether some of the travelers who were sized isolation in our country did not respect it.
