815 divorced couples in Kosovo in 2019, mostly after a year of marriage

This data shows that 815 married couples were divorced in Kosovo in 2019.

According to the duration of the marriage, the first year was dominated by 13.1%, the second year with 12.9%, and less than a year, 9.9% of those divorced. In divorces according to age groups, they dominated women aged 25-29 with 178 divorces or 21.8%, while men dominated the age of 30-34 by 192 or 23.6% of the case.

According to school preparation, women and men in high school dominate; the number of women in this category is 304 or 37.3%, while men 338 or 41.5%.

The largest number of divorced spouses are childless with 74.5%, then they come with two children with 9.6 % and also with a child of 9.3%
