The additional 300 euros is the amount health personnel will receive until the end of the pandemic.
The minister of Health, Armend Zemaj, has announced that this bonus will benefit all health workers who are on official salary lists in Kosovo.
“All health personnel who are on official salary lists in the Republic of Kosovo will have an additional salary by the end of the pandemic. The escalation will be both professionally and directly engaged in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, but not by a pronounced” difference.
And this stimulus for health personnel is being welcomed by USKKUK Director Valbon Krasniqi.
Krasniqi has said that in addition to anti-law - CO VID will have other benefits for them.
It is good news that health personnel will receive an additional government salary. Now we have the anti-Condavid law adopted in the Assembly, and it's going to be all legalally regulated, and it's going to be even easier for health professionals and government to take these” actions.
While talking about the work being done through Kosovo hospitals in the fight against the pandemic, Krasniqi said they note a serious lack of health staff, saying a number of them are infected with this virus.
You know that human resources in both doctors and nurses and also on technical support staff have been flawed for years at the KSKUK and during the time of pandemic these shortages have been observed even more”.
Not only have we had shortages, but there has also been a considerable number of health staff infected with COVID-19, so this has made it even more difficult for health staff and staff”, Krasniqi told EO.
They almost worked without vacation, worked long hours, and deserved thanks, and most praise”.
He has warned that they are aiming to take additional staff of doctors and nurses to prepare for the autumn and winter season. / EO/
