The number of cases at a global level with Avid-19 exceeded the figure of 25 million on Sunday, Reuters news agency has reported after processing the results of a survey.
The data is showing continued growth in the number of people infected with the Corona virus, while the epicentrare is now moving from the U.S. of Latin America to India, broadcasts news.net.
The official number of coronary cases now is at least five times higher than severe flu diseases recorded for a year, according to the World Health Organisation (OBSH).
Worldwide, more than 840 thousand deaths have been recorded. With such a figure, the death toll of Covid-19 dies in the balance of deaths from the flu annually (650 thousand).
However, the speed of rising new cases in the world has slowed down slightly. In three weeks, cases have risen from 5 million to 25.
The rate of new cases has slowed to nearly 1.2% in August, compared to 1.75 in July, 1.8% in June, 2.15 in May, 4.6% in April and 7.7% in March.
