As citizens are failing to comply with calls to respect measures at war against COVID-19, the next step will be to split fines. Ozan Ibrahimi, executive director of the Kosovo Communist Association, has warned this.
Ibrahim spoke on the interactive KTV, while he said it would be time for the measures to be pronounced because the requirements are not being respected.
Ibrahim said that the mayors are not in favour of punitive measures, but are being forced to do otherwise.
Until now every citizen has been admonished not to repeat the mistake. Gastronomia, which is a hearth, is attending cafes at meetings previously held by gastronomics, have given promises. But they are not respecting the measures. Mayors of municipalities are not much to pronounce fines, because they are huge fines. Fines are 3,000 euros and higher. They can be pronounced to the legal person”, Ibrahim said.
According to him, businesses so far have only been warned, as they were long closed.
But from next week, I believe it will be done because it's only showing that the pronunciation of fines will probably prove to the owners of restaurants, cafes, to create conditions that are before”, Ibrahim stressed.
He says co-ordination is not missing, but that there has been reluctance to share fines.
But the time has come for you to act in this direction”
