Volunteer doctors disappointed with the MSH competition: We're getting ready to go to Germany.

At this time when the country is facing a large number of cases of COVIID-19, the Ministry of Health has admitted to work about 200 professionals, nurses, microbiologists, general doctors, Laborans, but on the list of admissions were not the names of doctors who voluntarily helped the Infectious Clinic at the time there was [...]
Of the eight volunteers applied for work in the competition, only one was accepted, while seven others were left off the list, including infection specialist. They say they are being forced to flee to Germany.
The general volunteer doctor at the Infectious Clinic, Nita Ymeraga, who was not admitted to the competition for recruiting health professionals, says their labor was not appreciated, so she added that if no decision is made for them after this week they will not continue their volunteer work at the Infective Clinic.
While expressing disappointment, Ymeraga declared for Kosova Prees that for the past few months they've been able to treat patients with COVID-19.

With our maximum knowledge we've been trying to give all our hard work, we've done a lot and medical staff and patients have been very satisfied and there's been a lot of results. This lasted until the Ministry of Health opened the competition we applied eight volunteer doctors, one of them is a specialist and seven of them have not been accepted and only one of us has been accepted... We have started without the knowledge that this has to happen for the knowledge of the opening of the contest we have done only for the good of the people. But at the moment the competition is open, it's unpredictably that we applied because the competition is open to managing patients with COVIED and we over the next three to four months have had contact with patients and are able to manage patients with COVID. And it's preemptive for us to be admitted to the list first that we can help patients as many patients as possible. But as long as the infection specialist hasn't been admitted, I don't even know what we expect as a general physician. We've been pretty disappointed... Unfortunately, we have discussed this week if no solution is made (not continuing our work)”, she stressed.
Ymeraga said that this group of volunteers has also filed a complaint that has included some irregularities that have been recorded.
“During the time of application at the contest noted that doctors will be called into written or oral interviews, this has not even happened and the results have not been announced by the number of points which would be appropriate, and we have learned that because many volunteer lawyers and lawyers have helped us to look and file a complaint legally... Neither has their experience been confirmed nor diplomas confirmed that should be proven”, Ymeraga said.
Rita Charlesi has also worked as a general volunteer doctor for over three months at the Infectious Clinic. She too was not accepted in the latest health ministry contest, and she is very disappointed.
It says after this bypass the only thing left is to continue their career as a doctor in Germany.

And since it has been a disappointment and despair that considering that we who over three months have been trained to digest, to diagnose and treat patients with COVID in the middle of the pandemic have been largely disappointing and couldn't believe when we didn't see the names... Our diplomats are nostrified, we've made their acquaintance in Germany, and now I'm just going to run a B2 test and go to Germany... It is very sad that a country that educates us and has brought us here would have to leave the state”, she stressed.
Regarding the dissatisfaction expressed by the volunteers who were rejected today, the Ministry of Health has reacted. Their announcement said that the candidate selection was made in the manner that medical field specialists were first involved and then, in order, being ranked longer on the license date”, the communiqué says.
With the June 12th 2020 competition announced by the Health Ministry, among 200 positions for health professionals in the function of monitoring the situation around Covid-19 are also 100 doctors' positions.
“Following the competition criteria, besides completed schooling in medicine and labour license, priority for participating candidates has been the highest rank, the longest license time and equal conditions, when, at the same date, two candidates have been licensed, the priority is being given to the candidate who has worked as volunteers at the time of the period of the David-19 pandemic.
So, under equal conditions of meeting the criteria, candidates who have served voluntarily during the pandemic era have had priority.
“Candidate selection has been made in the manner that medical field specialists are first involved and then, in order, ranking in the longest time from the license date”, said the MSH response.
