Friday will mark the beginning of Kurban Bajrami, for hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide.

That day will also signal the start of a journey for Turks, and not only, with the majority of citizens going to their hometowns to visit relatives, while others will try to do so at city resorts for a relaxing holiday.

And despite the fact that some must pass Bay locked in closed environments because of the crash due to the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of citizens can access “during” since Thursday, on the eve of the party, writes the Daily Sabah, records Telegrafi.

Despite having a declining trend of new infections at the time, Turkey in May declared a <x0-state nationwide <x0) state-of-the-art” for Ramadan Bay to avoid a second wave of infections.

Even before the deadlock was announced, 15 of the worst hit provinces were under travel restrictions, with inflows and exits allowed for very few exceptions.

A similar move was cited for Kurban Bajram, but President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ruled out a possible nationwide impasse in early July.

Before Erdogan, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca had dismissed claims of a nationwide statehood, but he did not fully rule it out.

Koca said the Health Ministry could impose measures on district grounds, depending on the number of cases of Coronobrus.

But with the rapid approach of smoldering, the government has yet to show signs of a deadlock.

Thus, as the Daily Sabah estimates, without any adjustment or travel restrictions, millions are expected to gather at airports, bus stations, or create major roadblocks on the highway.

However, numerous experts at the country's Coronavirus Board of Sciences have warned citizens that by performing customs and traditions, from visiting relatives to shopping, they will endanger citizens at risk of coronavirus infections.

In this regard, Professor Yeşim Taşova warned that despite the low number of new infections over the past few weeks, family visits still pose a danger, especially for elderly family members who are at greater risk of contracting Covid-19.

Explaining that the traditional hand kiss of elderly family members is a perfect way to spread the virus, Taşova urged citizens to celebrate the holiday at home.

According to Taşova, another tradition-born danger is the size of family gatherings.

While Taşova warned of the dangers of family visits, another member of the Scientific Board of Coronavirus warned of the apparent dangers of another dung tradition: purchases.

Especially on the eve of smoldering on Thursday for this year's holiday, families gather in shopping malls or shopping to buy clothes for children and to pick up food items for future family holidays.

But spending a lot of time in shopping malls or crowded shopping will expose families to potential infections, warned Professor Mustafa Necmi Ilhan.

Both families and vendors should not forget to obey all three rules. They should wear a mask, keep a distance, and pay attention to hygiene, especially to their own”.

Saying it is impossible to reduce the risk of zero infections, Ilhan urged families to make purchases during hours when stores are less loaded.

While with regard to possible infections from purchased items, especially food items, Ilhan said while it was a very low risk, it was still theoretically possible.

For food, an infection is out of the question once something is cooked. But if someone coughs or sneezes in packing, there may be risks”, he said.

While Koca did not rule out a possible obstruction imposed on a provincial level, the daily level of Turkey's infection, however, shows that such a move may not be necessary at all, writes the Daily Sabah.

Otherwise, recent infections in Turkey raised the number of cases of viruses across the country to 225.173, while the total number of deaths rose to 5,596.

Meanwhile, 1,103 Coronavirus patients were restored, leading to a total of 208,477. With recent recoverys, less than 8% of the country's coronary cases remain active.
