Iranian health officials have been able to underestimate President Hasan Rouhani's statement that some 25 million Iranians may already be infected with coronarys, writes the Guardian”, Report Express.
They claimed that the president's assessment was based on the serological test that measures exposure to the disease and on which the estimates cannot be based to show the actual state of the disease.
The 25 million infected figure mentioned by Rouhan is much higher than the official number of 273,788 positive people in the coronary test.
Moreover, 14,88 victims of the new virus have been registered in Iran so far, making the state more vulnerable to the Middle East.
