Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has continued to insist that only with the presence of the United States of America in dialogue with Serbia will a mutual agreement be reached between Kosovo and Serbia, Online Economy reports.
Thaci has not expelled the EU from being part of these discussions either, but has said he is convinced that without the presence of Americans at the chat table, mutual recognition cannot occur.
I am convinced that despite the conversations that are being held in this city or in that city, where I am not in the US, or I am sure that there is no mutual recognition happening, therefore it is vital for Kosovo to have the U.S. negotiating table, of course with the European Exchange”, Thaci said Friday after the meeting he held with Prime Minister Hoti.
The president has indicated that dialogue with Serbia is political, and the main goal is mutual recognition.
