Thaci accepted credentials from Germany's new ambassador, Jorn Rohde

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has today accepted credentials from the new ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde.
Wishing success in the new mission in Kosovo, President Thaci has offered Germany's new ambassador full co-operation for deepening co-operation between the two states.
“German is Kosovo's key political address in Europe. We are grateful for the support the German people have given in the process of freedom, independence and statehood”, President Thaci has said.
This meeting has also discussed the challenges of overcoming COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, new German Ambassador Jörn Rohde has stressed that Germany will continue its support for Kosovo in the future as well.
President Thaci has expressed optimism that during Germany's chairmanship of the European Union, visa liberalisation for our citizens will also be possible, as Kosovo has now met all criteria set by the European Union for years.
