Pandemia caused by the COVID-19 virus, in addition to the underly understood medical aspect, has already become a sociocultural phenomenon.
The necessity of isolation and the maximum reduction of social interactions, as well as collective fear by the invisible enemy, has led to the number of cases of infected people being warned by official institutions to be eagerly cut off and then turned into the main topic of debate.
For this reason, sociologist Artan Muhhaxhiri, promoted by professional Christmas, has conducted a statistical analysis of the corruption cases in Kosovo and the region that took place between July 3rd and 13th 2020, Klen Kosova reports.
He has used the daily reports of the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health, those of relevant institutions of neighbouring states -- Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia -- as well as international institutions -- to create graphics with which different trains are identified.
It is obvious that Kosovo should always multiply the number of tests, which has been minimal since the beginning of the pandemic. In addition to the health benefits of citizens, reaching 1000000 tests a day would clarify the situation with the real state of COVID-19 in our country, because it's a huge difference between whether in 200 cases of infected a day we arrive after 400 tests, or after 1500 tests of”.
“With this small number of tests Kosovo will hardly be included in comparable global analyses that will be realised in the future”.
This statistical analysis results in Kosovo having extremely large percentages of proportion between testing and positive cases, 47.7 per cent, but also cases of infection in small-number municipalities such as Fushe Kosova and Lipjan”, Mujari has declared.
