Ending sessions, lack of co-operation and quorum results without approval of a resolution

Without a concrete result it has completed today's plenary session for management of the Covid 19 pandemic. The two opposition parties -- the LVV and PDK -- failed to harmonise their resolutions after the prolonged debate for two days.

To that end and in the absence of the quorum the final vote has been postponed at the next session, until the two parties are asked to co-operate so that a joint resolution of the people's elected can emerge from this session.

Vetevendosje MP Fatmire Mulhrama-Kulcaku presented the four points of their resolution, including accelerated voting of the anti-Convidian bill.

Consider with accelerated procedure the draft law on combating and preventing the Devid 19 pandemic in Kosovo. For patients infected with mild symptoms, suspects with this infection and their family institutions take over the protection and compensation of their basic health and social needs. Under three: emergency measures to be taken for treatment, protection of health personnel, including recruiting additional staff at all levels in relation to recommendations. Under four: all institutions take all real-time correct information measures on the truth of the current epidemiological situation for seriousness and the consequences of pandemic”, she said.

Another six-point resolution was presented by the deputy PDK, Bekim Haxhiu, which included adopting the anti-Convidian bill, but was also required to raise the salaries of health professionals.

“We are seeing that the anti-Cavid law has remained due to political resentments being voted, even though we as PDK have given support from the beginning. That's why we've asked to authorise the Parliament's Commission for Health in the fastest term brings the anti-Condivus Law for approval. Under two urgently, we demand that the government, with special decision, increase the salaries of health professionals, as planned with the wage bill. Including nurses' demands, this decision should also include all categories or state officials facing pandemic management... under the three health ministry to enable employment and even 1500 health professionals with the aim of impassioning with the Cardi 19. No one has the guarantee that the pandemic will pass... under four as soon as the decentralisation of tests and treatment for Covi 19 is done by supporting municipalities in management of the” situation, he said.
