A satellite photo published in a London-based Iranian news agency shows that most of the building was destroyed by Thursday's morning incident, suggesting there was a major explosion.

Iranian authorities have said that a fire broke out in the Natanz plant for enriching uranium in the province of Isfahan, but American and European analysts said it seemed like a place where advanced centrifuges rolling at extreme speed to convert uranium into nuclear substances were developing, writes The Guardian, translate Periscope.

The incident in Natanz was followed by two other industrial accidents during today, with fires and explosives in other countries, thus increasing speculation that Iran was being targeted by a state-sponsored and organised sabotage campaign.

Israel's government officials spoke about these rumors for the first time Sunday.

Neither Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi nor defence minister Benny Gantz agreed that Israel had a role in the matter.

Not every incident that takes place in Iran is necessarily connected to us (Israel),” said Gantz told Radio Israel this morning. /Periscope
