In this ministry's statement, past Tanjug Zajcev stressed that the UN “states were acting openly, at the expense of international efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the Balkans and therefore disagreeing with the militarising of the self-declared Republic of Kosovo”, the Klan Kosova broadcasts.
Zajcev says Washington's “ide is to help Kosovo Albanians form their own army, but that it seriously violates UN Security Council Resolution 1244 points, which envisions the dismantling of any militarized formation of Kosovo Albanians, allowing the presence of a exclusively international peacekeeping contingent in the province”.
“We call on all those who are not indifferent to the situation in the Balkans and the future of this sensitive region, not to allow steps that are burdened by its destabilising, increasing the potential of explosive conflict”, Zajcev said,
