REZOLUS FOR UNITY IN POLITIC FOLDER WRITER IN KING E S. LERAVE POPULATION COSOVA
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo reiterates the fact that in Kosovo the Serbian state has carried out ethnic cleansing, disseminating about 1 million citizens; it has killed over 12,000 civilians, among them more than 1300 children; it has committed more than 400 massacres; it has violated some 20,000 women and girls; and it has destroyed the wealth of citizens, cultural, religious and historical monuments and Kosovo infrastructure.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo requires that there is necessarily a quick solution to the issue of the found, which has disappeared as a result of the Serbian state's aggressive actions towards the people of Kosovo.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo reminds the international community of the 20-year effort to impose justice on the Serbian state's actions in Kosovo, as well as the Republic of Serbia's continued refusing approach to these requirements. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo reiterates calling for full justice and establishing justice for all victims of Serbian state crime against the people of Kosovo. Silence against these crimes is understood in Kosovo as amnesty and toleration to Serbia's crimes committed in Kosovo, and as international deprivation of requests and actions for punishing Serbian state criminals who committed inhumane crimes in Kosovo.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo recalls the selective approach to the crimes of the Serbian state in Kosovo, protecting the aggressor and judging the victim, as well as bringing into focus Serbia's intensive cases towards Kosovo citizens, such as the case known as “Panda”, and many similar cases. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo recalls the great sacrifices of the people of Kosovo, of generations, for freedom and independence, and considers the efforts of the Serbian state to try to rewrite Kosovo's history unacceptable.
- The Republic of Kosovo has consistently been ready to prove the justice of the Kosovo Liberation Army's defence fight, and it is still willing to do the same with Specialised Chambers today. Cleanliness of KLA war has been proven several times in processes developed by international justice mechanisms, such as UNMIK, the International Tribunal for War Crimes in the former Yugoslavia, EULEX and local justice.
- The Republic of Kosovo is a state built on the sacrifice of the people of Kosovo, its legitimate right to independence and self-rule, peaceful resistance, the fair fight of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the will and assistance of the international community for state building, based on international law confirmed even under the JND decision. The Republic of Kosovo has declared independence and built the state, respecting all international standards in the most affirmative sense regarding the rights of all communities in Kosovo.
- Despite Serb aggression, the non-cooperative approach of the Republic of Serbia and the human and material damage of the Republic of Kosovo caused by the Serbian state, the Republic of Kosovo has consistently shown willingness and co-operation, with the goal of establishing peace, stability and good neighbourlyity.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo respects the Specialised Chambers and requires that their work be based on observing Kosovo's laws and international rules of its operation, and that these rooms be fair and impartial in dealing with all subjects.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo expresses concern over possible procedural violations made on the case of publishing names pertaining to unconfirmed proposal-accussion against KLA members.
- The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo sees the need for political and civic unity, to protect the liberation fight of the KLA and the people of Kosovo, refocusing the fact that Kosovo still faces Serbia today. This political and civic unity, aimed at establishing justice in accordance with the Constitutional Order of Kosovo, reconfirms commitment to co-operation and lasting friendship with the United States of America, the European Union, NATO, as well as commitment to good neighborhood.
