The resignation of USKKUKA Director called for after the death of four people in Infective

The Association of Patients Rights in Kosovo (PRAK) has reacted after the death of 12 patients and confirmation of 178 new cases with COVID-19, saying this indicates the actual state that health institutions are failing to manage the flow of patients affected with this dangerous disease. As stated in a communique [...]
As one media communiqué says, 4 out of 12 dead patients have changed their lives as a result of oxygen problems, but this remains to be confirmed by responsible institutions.
The PRAK is seeking from USKKKK Director Basri Sejdiu to resign or be dismissed by the USKKUK Board for moral reasons and to give room to an independent investigation that would be a moral satifation for the victims' families.
Moreover, The PRAK considers that the release measures, recommended by the National Public Health Institute and approved by the Ministry of Health, have contributed to the state becoming unmanageable.
The transition from rigorous measures to extremely liberal measures without hospital capacities being established has contributed to institutions coming to the brink of collapse. It is inexplicable that by the time cases confirmed by COVID-19, the preventative measures were further released. Even more difficult to explain is reducing tracking contact of people affected with COVID-19. The public was never informed why there was a disproportion of the number of cases, release of measures and reduction of tests, even though massive tests were promised. To assess that the recommendations will be implemented by citizens who for 20 years have received health education is an illusion, much more so when monitoring the compliance of the measures has been minimal”, the communiques say.
Reasoning the country's institutions for releasing measures due to economic subx0> , P RAK calls the approach wrong, saying the country is returning to zero where the “economy health” and public will be seriously endangered.
The Hoti government has prepared an action plan where in major cities of those infected like Pristina, Prizren, Ferizaj and Vushtrri will return the measure of restrictions of movement of 900 to 5:00.
Since March 13th, when the first cases and so far, 3356 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kosovo, of them 1874 healed and 66 dead.
