Call for the biggest fund ever.
According to them, up to 265 million people can face hunger by the end of the year because of the impact of the disease caused by the Coronavirus, COVID-19.
Money would be used for low and fragile countries.
The United Nations warned that failure to act could undo development deficits.
In the first appeal to the Coronobrianus in March, they have called for two billion dollars.
The revised appeal is a record, but, according to the UN, wealthy countries should help the poor.
If not, the world faces a series of crises, including millions of hungry people, the UN warned.
Coronervirus' pandemic has reduced production and economic decline in many countries because of mandatory isolation measures.
COVID-19 has affected over 13.8 million people worldwide.
Of them, over 589,000,000 have died and over 7.7 million have recovered.
