Along with other health professionals, nurses are standing on the front line treating all patients with COVID-19. And the chairman of the Infermies Union, Fitim Havolli, has told of his experiences with Corona virus patients.
He has shown that patients often realize that they have no cure for the virus.
And we have other cases when the patient sees that everything we're trying to do with ink, you admit, except for the pain he's saying or in vain, you're just dying. I've had times when I've been told that I can't do it since Havol.
He says the biggest challenge has been the beginning of pandemic when health staff did not know exactly what they are expected to face.
The “originally was a very big challenge when we confirmed the first case, it was heavy and disturbing, we had information from other states that we saw multiple bodies, it was completely unknown” he said.
In the meantime, Havol has also told of the challenges that nurses have in their workplace, which, according to him, is challenging, but effective.
But besides that nurses in Kosovo are health staff members who, with more than 350 cases, top the list of health professionals affected by COVID-19.
