The Social Democrat Party has criticised the Hoti government, as well as the preliminary government Kurti, for managing the Codavi-19 pandemic.

The Social Democrat Party's full response:
Coddy-19 Pandemia is the world's main concern of the virus's presentation in December last year. This pandemic finds Kosovo with a very fragile health system and has caused a deepening crisis, jeopardising its full exit from control.
The reasons for the current situation are many. The health system plagued by lack of health policies and systemic corruption is clearly unable to cope with a crisis that is kneeling down even more advanced health systems. In addition, the reason for the current crisis is the lack of a clear long-term strategy in meeting with the pandemic by both governments facing it.
These governments, without vision, have dealt with the situation in panic, with decisions Ad Hoc, without legal and often irreplaceable grounds. Since we have had a total social impasse in the first two months, from June we have an almost total opening. None of these measures were associated with a longer-term strategy or planning.
It's been talked about increasing testing capacity, these capacities involving microbiologists and technical equipment, are the same as at the beginning of the pandemic four months ago. Even though such a great delay is unforgivable, emergency inactivity today would be tragic.
It is understandable that citizens' sensitivity to the risk of disease is not like in the early days of pandemic. Therefore, the government must intensify and improve its communication with the public. Minister Zemaj is failing completely at this point. The 150-page manual is a failure manual.
In parallel with acute health risk, the state of the country's economy and the violation of democracy continue to deteriorate. Even at this point, there was continued to be confusion in insufficient emergency action and recovery.
The government takes an hour and earlier to start drafting the plan that involved, among other things:
Kosovo needs epidemiologists, infection, microbiologists and diagnostic devices RT PCR for SARS COV 2. We should ask for such assistance outside Kosovo, from countries that have such capacities.
The government needs to start urgently testing the massive serological test of citizens to know the epidemiological situation.
According to various international protocols, the most sensitive categories to the disease include people over 70 years, people with certain chronic diseases such as diabetes, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, cancer and chemotherapy, obesity, and so on. Hence, special treatment of these categories involving precautions and their information and family members about them is necessary.
A detailed strategy for awareness of citizens about the way and the importance of preventing the disease should be drafted. Communication with the public is vital. In addition, work must be added and take on a new dynamic.
We call on citizens to increase their care, because it's the main weapon in meeting with the threat that's threatening us. This means the precise implementation of already recognised preventive measures. Caring for public health is a concern for friends and family.
